... with us staying the night at Heathrow! We stayed up and did not sleep at all surprisingly and as we were early for check in we got to get a flight out to Madrid an hour earlier than scheduled which was nice. Got on the next flight no problems, which was my first expericence of long haul and really dragged! After sleeping for a few hours I felt like we had been on the plane for ages but realised there was still another 8 hours of flying!! A smooth landing in Lima was greated with a big round of aplause!
We were supposed to have a lift to the hostel we had booked but no one was there as I think we gave them the wrong time (length of flight and not arrival time!!). Got a taxi to the Flying Dog Backpackers hostel in Miraflores a district of Lima. The roads out here are crazy, you can not go ten seconds with out hearing a horn and everyone is constantly changing lanes, all very amusing though. So arrived dead late, can not remember times, have lost complete track of time now! Had a relxing evening and a good kip. I am out of time but will post more soon! I hope everyone is well.
