Rotorua

We woke up really early as it is not the most comfortable sleeping three guys in one bed in the back of a camper van! We headed to the tourist information centre and looked up some stuff to do. The local museum was too expensive so we went to a baseball batting cage and hit some balls which was good fun! After that we headed to Mount Ngongotaha to go up on the cable car which had good views over the town. We then went on the luge ride which was a real good laugh. The track was concrete and twisted down the hill, theluges were small plastic sledges with wheels and a handle bar whichacted as a brake when you pulled it back. We had paid for two runs down in a deal at the tourist information centre which also includedthe return cable car ride but we decided to go down a third time asit was such a good laugh! We then made some lunch in the camper van, I had warm cheese in a roll before heading to Taupo which has the biggest lake in Australasia where we are hoping to do a sky dive!
