Hey I was just thinking about a few things that I have actually been doing in London that I thought I could still tell you all about, just to try and show that my life isnt that boring at the moment (Its not extremely exciting but I have still be busy).
Lauren and I went to a Vibe party about a month ago (vibe being the agency I work for). Free drinks, free food.....awesome fun!!! We felt like absolute idiots getting there because we had to wear their tshirts to get in and ltes just say they are not the most stylish of shirts. But when we got there it was ok because everyone looked the same and we felt like we were part of the gang!!
A few weeks ago I went to a Waifs concert with Hannah and Kate (some girls that I have met over here, they are from Melborne). The crowd was 90% Australian so it was just as good as it would have been seeing them at home....if not better!!! We had an excellent night, really glad that I went as I have never actually seen them live before but listen to them ALL the time....and I mean ALL the time!!!
Last week The girls and I all got together and went and saw the Sex and the City movie. Loved it, had a good night...actually ended up being apretty big night and I was alittle bit sick when I had to go to work the next day.
The next day we went to a bar that is called the Church. It is very well known to Australian, Zew Zealand and South African travellers as these are the people that dominate the crowd. Its something that you have to experience while you here.....very interesting! We went coz it was Kellys birthday (another girl I have met over here) and the place opened at 12 and closed 4. so it was a really fun and messy night/afternoon but still home in bed very early ready for work the next day. It was great.
Glen and I spent an afternoon in Grenwich a few weeks ago also. Its really nice up there, there are lots of green feilds. It was a bit wet that day so I got so very nice pictures with lots of clouds in them! Went to the Prime meridian and all that stuff.
Have visited some markets lately, they are an experience in themselves. Camden town was quite different, lots of things to see and buy but I came home with nothing as I have been trying to save. I do plan to take hannah and Sarah back though, when I have some money and hopefully I can find some nice things.
In a couple of weeks is Wimbledon, so I really want to and line up and eat stawberries and cream and all that jazz and hopefully see some sort of tennis. Might need to take a day off work for it....oh well, cant miss it while Im here!!
Liz arrives in three weeks and then off to Spain!!!
Talk soon Love Ash.
OXOXOX
