Busy In London!!

So things are coming very close to an end and before I know it I will be back home again. Time seems to be dissapearing over here at the moment because we have had plenty on with plenty of visitors to keep me busy.

Last month was quite busy, working really hard to get some money together but also having a few exciting things on. I went to Wimbledon to watch some of the tennis on the last Friday. Was the most lovely weather, didnt even have to que to get in. Saw Sam stozer play and win on court 2, had some strawberries and cream and sat with some Pimms and watched Nadal on the big screen. We also saw Pat Cash and got a pic of him on his way to a special event that he was involved in. It was good fun.  

Have been to a few Theatre shows also lately. I went and saw Billy Elliot with Lauren and Brooke, Glenn and Giacomo treated me to The Sound Of Music for my birthday and I also went to watch the Lion King with the Bowles's, Jo and Liz. They have all been fantastic.....I love the theatre over here!!

We also went to two concerts in Hyde park. First one was jack Johnson and Ben Harper on a wednesday night after school. Was fantastic, the weather was perfect and it was a really relaxed atmosphere.The Saturday after that Liz arrived from home and on the Sunday we went to Wireless O2 festival also in Hyde Park at the same place. Saw gooGoo Dolls Powderfinger, Ben Harper (again) and Counting crows. Was good but the weather was typical of london! WET. grrr.

We have had many visitors staying with us lately which has been really nice....someone new to talk to and keep busy with. Obviously Liz came over (talk about that very soon in another entry) we have also had Murray and Gillian here between their travels around Europe and Jo is over here now doing a bit of sight seeing before we set off for our trip. At the moment We have Lauren and Jye staying with us as they have had to move out of their place and are leaving town soon just for the transition time they needed somewhere to stay. Not long till Hannah and Sarah get here, two and a half weeks I think!

School finishes over here tomorrow and I didnt get any work for today so I doubt that I will get anything tomorrow.... but I was kind of expecting that and have saved a bit of money to prepare for this time. I am still working at the bar so hopefully that will give me my spending money over the next few weeks before I leave.

It is three weeks today until we leave on our Contiki....very exciting!! I plan to spend this time at the gym (as I have joined for the month!!haha...we will see how I go!), packing and sending boxes home and doing a few things around London that I have not yet done....plus not spending much money!  

I had a really lovely birthday.... it was quite a long one actually, I dragged it out really well!!! On the Sunday night before it, we all went out for dinner to a really nice thai resturant....was lovely to have so many ppl there from home and from over here. Then on the Tuesday before we went out again for dinner to a pub down the road that does two for one pizzas on a Tuesday night....soooo yummy!!!(see this is why I needed to join the gym).  And then on Wednesday I had my actual birthday and got some very exciting presents including the video tha Hannah made for me with lots of wishes from people at home. I think I watched it about 20 times and cried my eyes out each time... not because I was sad but because of the thought and effort that Hannah and everyone put into it for me. It was really nice, Im sure Ill be watching it many times more! Thankyou all! Lauren also cooked me a really yummy dinner with birthday cake and all!!

I think thats about all I have to say for a little bit.... I know I still have lots to say about the trip to Spain that I had with Liz but I will do another entry soon for that one otherwise this one is going to be really long.....

Hope to talk to everyone soon.... if not then Ill see you in about 8 weeks coz thats how close it is till I get home!!! Yay  so exciting!
