Recovery

Basically we spent all of Tuesday and most of Wednesday teasing mom and Grace. Mom still suffering aftereffects from her night of partying like a rock star cuz her hips are sore from when she fell in the dirt. It was a lazy day, where we just kinda hung out and took little naps… catching up on sleep and what not. Wednesday morning we woke up early and got out in the city right away. Wanted to hit a net café and find the info dad needed to get a reciprocal license to operate for ARRL [ham radio] and we were looking for a butterfly knife for dad. Mom wanted to hit the 20th street market, so we wandered around there looking for a wok for Lita and other gifts for certain people. The heat finally hit all of us and we ended up coming back home. Boober, Grace and I took about an hour break before hopping back into a jeepney and heading in to the city. Grace went to hang with some friends while Boober and I killed time in a net café that had WIRELESS internet!! For a whopping 25 pesos and hour, we surfed and chatted and caught up on emails. I got to talk to Andy for a bit and log on Y!PP like the good addict that I am. We wandered in and out of the stores without the parents, looking for little things here and there, then made our way back home. It seemed like jeepney fumes were especially strong today, as I was coughing really badly and found it hard to breathe. We went home and I promptly passed out for the night, not waking until like 4am Thursday morning. Auntie Darlene is due to fly in tomorrow night, so the house should be hustling and bustling today and tomorrow in preparation. After the prayer services on the 13th were slotted to head to Botolan and spend some time there. That’s pretty much when we’ll be diving and visiting landmarks and such. I’m really looking forward to that part of the trip!
