Today I went on one of those bus tours and I went to Ile D'orleans, St. Anne-de-Beaupre, and Montmorency Falls. Of these 3 places, the last was my favorite. The falls are higher than Niagara and they have a suspension bridge on which you can walk across on- and I did, despite my fear of heights. I gotta tell ya, it wasn't bad whatsoever; I think I may be cured of my fear
I also attended one of the many summer events here. I saw a commemorative show to QC's 400th anniversary. It was crowded! An actor was portraying Samuel de Champlain the founder of Quebec City. Several artists also performed.
At almost every corner there is something interesting going on. And it just doesn't coincide with the city's birthday. Summer here is like summer in Chicago and other cosmopolitan cities.
I did not partake in another Quebecois dinner. I went American at Subway. Same kind of menu except their "sub du jour" or "sub of the day" is quite different from back home. For instance, Quebec's Saturday sub is the Italian B.M.T. which is our Tuesday sub (I think). I just thought that was interesting to share. Haha
Au revoir, Quebec City!
I shall return,
H.
P.S. To Joana: there are public modes of transport here. It's just easier to get around and more visually stunning by foot. Also it's a great workout!

by the way, i can't wait to see your pictures!!!
