Oh my gosh... this international keyboard is annoying! It`s taken me a long time to figure out what`s what. I still don`t know how to get the question mark to appear! Gaaaaaah!
Rather than eating breakfast at the hostel today, I took two buses to St. Viateur Bagels. I went based on a recommendation from the program 1-90 North. They raved about how sweet the bagels are. The verdict (insert question mark because I can`t seem to type it in!). My taste buds detected no difference. Oh well! At least mon petit-dejeuner was the cheapest it has been, at no more than $4.
Afterwards I ventured to the Underground City. It was overwhelming! So many stores. So many restos. So many businesses. 19 miles! I did not walk the entire length though. Oh, heavens no! The underground is equivalent to Woodfield, Old Orchard, and Gurnee Mills combined! It`s massive... definitely a shopaholic`s delight.
I also got to visit the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM). I bought myself one of those 10-pocket folders for school
I heart school supplies. Sadly, they do not sell any school paraphenilia; so no mug or shirt for me
The interior of UQAM reminds me alot of NEIU. I think it is also a public uni.
I am less than 24 hours away from my scheduled departure en route to Chicago. Will I return (insert question mark here). Or will I stay (insert question mark). We`ll find out soon enough.
H.
