Starting from Mayenne in France, Paris, Nurnberg (Germany) Praha, Krakow (Poland) Warsaw (Poland) Riga (Latvia) onto the first ice road Haapsalu to Vormsi, and Hiiumaa and Saaremaa,

Then pushing up to Tallin, St Petersburg (Leningrad) and Lake Ladogo, Tibbett- Contwoyto!!

Lake Ladoga in Russia provided the only access to the besieged city of Leningrad in the winter months during World War 2
