Well, this is my last night in Brisbane. I did try to leave at 7am this morning, but turns out there wasn’t a bus running today. Poop.
As for being on my own...I wasn’t for long! Started chatting to a girl in my room, and before I knew it we were going out for dinner with 2 Irish guys and a Dutch guy from the room next door. We also went to the bar under the hostel again, the man-made beach (actually really nice! like a tropical lagoon by the river in the middle of a city!), then we played cards for aaaages on the grass. Saw Sin City at the cinema for $5 (its HORRBILE, so gross!) before going to the casino, where the guys wasted money and us girls got free souvenirs 
hehe. They left yesterday evening, so I spent today on my own, at the cinema watching Bewitched (much more my type of film!) and reading my book on the beach. Now I'm off to do laundry.
