after blitzing the appartment for 2 hours then getting ready like a maniac, our first guests turned up (in typical german style, bang on 9pm!)
By 11.30 our party was really hoppin', with sooo many people! we met 2 new stagiares, Simon and Amit (Simon is the 5th Lancaster peoson to arrive) along with some other stagiares that have been here a while that we hadnt spoken to before. Thomas's housemates joined us too, along with some erasmus students from the university. Was very international too, with people from germany, phillipines, spain, italy, france, morocco, sweden, america, irish, english...
Thomas even introduced us to our next door neighbours who he bumped into in the hall! They're really nice, a french couple, who have even invited us to the guys birthday do next week!
at 12, we moved out of the flat and onto a bar called Les Trois Diables (3 devils) where we danced on tables and benches, drank a giraffe of Sex on the beach and generally had a wicked time! Fantastic bar with plenty of space and good music!
sooo many photos are now appearing on facebook! everyone seemed to have a good time, many got satisfyingly drunk, and our circle of freinds is much bigger now
I think its fair to say, the party was a huge success!
