About me

As you are all aware, I am spending this year on a work placement towards my degree. Due to being bitten head to toe by the travel bug, I have taken the opportunity to move to the south of France to work. I am working in the marketing strategy department of a Travel IT company (they do the booking systems airline/travel agencies etc use) called Amadeus.

I am living in Old Nice, a very historic part of Nice that is full of character and feels very french/italian. I am sharing a fantastic apartment with another Amadeus intern called Joan. We live 7 mins walk from the beach, 1 minute from the bus station to work, and bang in the heart of Nice's nightlife district. Apart from the hourlong commute to work by bus, its pretty damn perfect!

About my trip

As I said, I'm living on the Cote D'Azur, however I plan on spending lots of weekends exploring Europe, especially other areas of France and Italy. Come my first paycheck, I shall book my first trip! I'll keep u posted as to where, in case anyone fancies meeting me there...hehe
