Terry purchases a food ticket called ‘shoken’. In Japan, many shops use this system and it is very efficient. A food ticket is purchased from the vending machine and handed to the worker behind the counter. This allows the worker to avoid handling money and food, and avoid making mistakes with the change. It also allows a single worker to run an entire shop like this train station platform curry shop
