Hervey Bay and Fraser Island

 Hello everyone,

 We've had a great time since the last time we wrote.

 On Saturday we went for a 2 day/ 1 night all included tour on Fraser Island.

WOW!! That's all I would write, but mum says to write more.

Just to give you an idea, Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the WORLD. It's said that all the sand of the east coast of Australia washes on Fraser Island.

In the pictures you'll see a green lake (Lake Wabby) and there most beautiful lake on the island (Lake Mackenzie).

The best thing about this tour is that we didn't have to worry or think of anything, which made us enjoy the experience even more.

On Sunday we drove to a sleepy town named 1770. The next day we hired boards and went for a surf in the ocean. Mum got beaten by the board and the waves of the open water (she has war marks to prove it).

Now we're getting ready in Airlie Beach because tomorrow we're leaving for another tour. This time for 3 days/ 2 nights sailing tour of the Whitsunday islands (for those who only know Hamilton Island it’s where we are). The itinerary for the tour includes guided walks, Whitehaven Beach, snorkelling on some reefs, and the best part living/sleeping on the Sail boat (her name is Eureka). So we might come back with some sea sickness stories...
