Het was een prachtig mooie dag vandaag, daar moet je zeker van profiteren, die zie je niet vaak hier! Heb mn buufje Robin maar gebeld of ie mee wou wandelen naar Lyle Hill. Dat ligt aan de rand van Greenock en zo'n half uurtje lopen. Was er al eerder geweest maar was toen nog winter. Zag er een stuk beter uit nu! Robin was er nog niet eerder geweest. Toen we aan het genieten waren van het mooie uitzicht zag ik in de verte een andere heuvel met een toren erop. Vroeg me af wat dat was. Zag eruit of het niet zo ver weg was, dus besloten we op zoektocht te gaan. Door heel Gourock gelopen en na rondgevraagd te hebben bleek het om Tower Hill te gaan. Na een best wel stijle klim naar boven, met allemaal trapjes, kwamen we eindelijk aan op de top. De toren bleek een beetje tegen te vallen haha, die was erg klein. Maar goed, het uitzicht was weer toppie! En veel anders dan vanaf Lyle Hill natuurlijk. Even lekker gezonnebaad en gekke foto's gemaakt en toen maar weer de lange tocht terug naar huis ondernomen...vervolgens mn voetjes in de lucht en niet meer van de bank afgekomen!
Gorgeous day out today! Better enjoy it while you still can, cause there are not many of those in Scotland! So I phonesd Robin to see if he wanted to go for a walk to Lyle Hill. Lyle Hill is on the edge of Greenock, about half an hour walk. Robin had never been there before. I had, but it was winter then, and not nearly as nice of a view as now. When we were enjoying the nice views, I saw another hill in the distance, with a tower on it. I was wondering what it was...It didnt look like it was that far, so we decided to go on a journey to find it. Walking straight across Gourock. When we asked around we found out it was Tower Hill. It was quite a steep climb up the hill, nothing but steps. Finally arriving at the top, the tower turned out to be pretty small. But nonetheless, the views were awesome and quite different then from Lyle Hill. After a nice sunbath and a crazy photosession we started our long journey home...Finally arriving I parked myself on the couch with my feet up and stayed there all night!
