From Bangkok into paradise...

January 6, 2013 - Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand

The Gentleman: Well it's probably a couple of weeks overdue but I'm finally getting around to making my debut post. Try to contain your excitement please.

Since The American's last post we've now moved on from the craziness of Bangkok down to the paradise of the Thai islands. First stop - Ko Phan Ngan. We'd heard a lot about this place before we came, mainly involving Full Moon parties, but I don't think we were prepared for how amazing it is. It's exactly what you picture if you close your eyes and imagine a postcard of a tropical island. We managed to snaffle ourselves a bungalow right on the beach on the South Coast. And I do mean right on the beach. Im defo suited to island life I think. This is the type of lifestyle I have been imagining ever since we first decided to go on this trip: our day today (with food included for Janabean) consisted of an early walk down the beach with our feet in the water, followed by a breakfast of pancakes stuffed with mango, papaya, pineapple and banana, followed by relaxing at our resort bar watching the Packers take care of business. Then some sunbathing and swimming followed by a walk into town to visit the famous food market for dinner of spicy papaya salad and Thai stir fry. Complimented by one carrot, pineapple and kiwi and one dragonfruit, passion fruit and mango fruit shake then all washed down with some cold beers and gags at the bar.

It's been a rough day.

New photos of NYE, our time in Bangkok, and the first few of our new location are now live. Enjoy, comment, be happy, be jealous. :-)

One of us will be back in the next few days with another written update.
