One week to go!

At this time next week we will be making last-minute packing decisions and saying goodbye to the pets and the jobs as we prepare for our Sunday, November 29th departure for South America! It has been eight years since we decided we'd do some major travelling after Chuck's schooling was finished. It's been 12 years since my last backpacking trip and eight years since Chuck's. Needless to say we're excited! We'll miss the dogs and cats and couch, but this will be a once-in-a lifetime experience and we can't wait! One more week to go!

Andrew is at his last day of classes and then he will be writing his exams. Michael is working at a job that he likes well enough, but for $15 per hour, Frank has just been recovering from an attempted unsuccessful ureteroscopy attempting to zap a kidney stone, I have been on taxi duty and you guys are basking in the sun and humidity in the sunny south. Who has the better deal? I'm so glad you're having a great time. Love, Judy
