Hoi An

May 14, 2007 - Hoi An, Vietnam

Hello!
Work is going well, today I taught two children’s classes at Thuan Xuan and Xuan Phu orphanages. Introduced them to PGL style games and taught the alphabet, all seemed to go down well! This evening I taught my adult evening class, meant to be a teaching assistant but the teacher wasn’t there! So I taught shopping and conversation topics at a party, they seem a really mixed ability group though so not sure it was that beneficial to some of them!
This weekend we went to Hoi An which is a really pretty historic town full of tailors. I got a dress, a top and a skirt made which are all very nice! Harriett and I have decided to go back next month and get suits made for uni!
The town is so full of tailors there is even one in the hotel, you can see the result of Blaire, Harriet and I stumbling across this tailors after a couple of drinks!
Also when we were bored the other day we made a short documentary about the buddest shrine to the ancestors in our house. Probably only funny to us but check it out if you like! Its under the video section.
Missing everyone!
