We left home on June 4, 2008. After stopping to visit some friends in FL, we went to Red Bay, AL where we had some work done on the motorhome. We visited some friends on our way through Missouri, and then we continued NW to the Badlands in SD. We camped there for 2 nights. We drove on Rt. 240 (scenic route) up to Wall, SD that took you through the most scenic parts of the Badlands. We ate a Buffalo burger at the famous Wall Drugstore. We also took a short hike that led to a really nice overlook. The hike was pretty neat with a log ladder to climb. It was really pretty there, but you can see the park in a couple of days and be ready to move on.
