We visited Vancouver, Canada for one day. The view driving in was beautiful. Our first stop was the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The bridge was suspended 450 feet above the Capilano River. The bridge swayed when you walked on it. There was a walkway through the treetops which was pretty neat. There were lots of pretty flowers, oh and lots of people too! Then we moved on to Grouse Mountain. There was a skyride to the top of the mountain with a great view of Vancouver. At the top there was a ski lift ride with more views of Vancouver. They also had a wildlife refuge, a bird show, and a lumberjack show. The lumberjacks were really funny. You will see pictures of one lumberjack who climbed to the top of a very tall pole and then stood on his head up there. No way! It made my legs quake just watching him. After several crazy antics he fell off the top, but of course he had a safety line that you couldn’t see until he fell. We then went to downtown Vancouver and went up in a revolving restaurant that had a view of the city. We had dinner at a less pricey restaurant before heading back to our campground in Birch Bay, WA.
