Ingamar caught up with me again. One hour before I was going to leave there he was. He left Burgsvik very early in the morning and arrived around noon in Boda. Said his wife was going to drive there to meet him sometime later in the day.

I had a great breakfast of Chicken Curry cooked by a real Indian from Chennai. Nice fellow who works for the summer after completing college degree in IT. Going to the Big Apple to work at end of summer-job is waiting.. He imported the curry from his home country as it is not available in the island. Told him Fergie was moving there to so if he needs a good lawyer in couple of years he will have one.
Met another chap who cooks in the marina restaurant who plays American style football in Sweden. He finished culinary school and is working the summer there. Played guard for the local team. Cannot stay too long in Boda because the winds are right for a trip around the top of island of Oland. Short run of 18 miles today. Rain coming.

Later. In new marina of Byxelkroks and go t a call from my mate from Tallinn who was 2 hours behind me and heading for the same marina. Dave. He asked if they could fit in his 16 meter pirate ship. See photo. Onboard are Magnus who I also met in Tallinn and James, who is Dave’s son, going all the way to St Lucia, Carribean. When they arrived we went straight to the pub for beer and pizza to trade tales. They are heading out next mornig for a long trip over night to makeyup lost time sitting out the bad weather . Could be a long time before I catch up with Dave. Possibly in Canaries! Or Spain. Really nice to see the group. Gonna veg out here and press on tomorrow if wind is right. Have to do some small repairs and check out the engine routinely.
