Flying out of GR

Well, we made it to the airport on-time with all of our luggage only to discover that our flight to Chicago was canceled due to thunderstorms. The next available flight left at 3:00 the next day, with a different airline and with a different stop. It was a bummer because we had picked the perfect flight plan, only to have it totally overhauled yesterday. So, today, we'll fly with Delta instead of American, and make a stop in Atlanta, Georgia (known as the black hole of luggage). We're still excited to get on our way, and we now extended our vacation an extra day to account for the lost one.

Boy, what a way to start a marriage.
Seriously though, I know you two will take this all in stride and end up looking back on this years later and smile.
When I went to Spain before, we flew from Detroit to Atlanta and Atlanta to Spain. Everything was good on the way there, but on the way back, we almost missed out flight because Customs took so long. But, hey...that's 3 weeks away. And I'm sure it will totally be fine! I just know it!

Well, I think you left out an important part of your flight screw up!! Ok,,,so you had drinks & fun conversation w/your 'favorite' neighbors ...that is,,,til the ran began!! We so want to do that again when you get back,,glad you're having fun, so the pictures tell me...your kittys are missing you, but me & little Justin are trying to make them feel loved!

That was very fun Michelle! Go spy on that house on Sligh for us and see if it is nice inside or not... they have an open house today, I think?

Airlines can cause such trouble.
I almost missed my flight to China last summer because my flight to California was delayed. It was a total mess.
I'm glad that you guys got it all sorted out though.
I'm looking forward to hearing about the adventures!
