So far I am still adjusting to the time change...last night was not a good night for me, i woke up multiple times :'(. However, in these 3 days I've already formally toured the city through the study abroad office, and I've also had a chance to do some exploring on my own. I went to my first pub on Monday night, and I'm happy to see numerous coffee shops all along my walk to the city center. Most are quite affordable. I also stopped at Primark, similar to a Forever 21, and other shops at the Westgate shopping center. This morning I went to a flea market, held every Weds. and Thurs., where everything from fresh produce to clothing is sold. I finally bought a watch this morning, but that didn't stop me from being late for my British History seminar
Seminars have been all day and are quite draining, since I'm still adjusting to the time change and lectures can go for 2hrs without a break. They are interesting though, particularly since Oxford is celebrating 1000 yrs as a town and many of the structures mentioned in class are still standing. I will be uploading pictures soon, but between studying for lectures and taking in this wonderful town I'm kept fairly busy....
Until next time!

Love and best wishes for your Oxford experience. Linda
