Whew!

So....here I sit..11:59 pm to be exact, Friday evening. Whew...what a day. We arrived a little late yesterday due to the welcomed rain showers in the Charlotte area. We finally got checked in at the hotel around 8 and decided to skip our dinner reservations at House of Blues and hang out at the hotel and grab a pizza and some chicken strips, etc, etc. We had a great evening hanging out on the property and, as you can imagine, everyone was very excited about the days to come.

We all decided to sleep in a little this morning and did not wake up until the late hour of.....7:30!! No really..we all got to breakfast around 9 and headed for the Magic Kingdom around 10. Our first order of business was Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. Kimberly and Camille piloted one "carpet" while Isabella and Sophia rode front seat in ours while Mary Shannon and I rode in back. A great start to the morning! We next headed to the Pirates of the Carribean-one of my favorites from long ago. The girls loved this ride and, as you would imagine, it let out right in the middle of a gift shop. The 3 little girls are now enjoying their captain hook hand appendages! The next adventure was the Jungle Cruise--a nice respite for things to come. I finally convince Isabella to ride with me on Splash Mountain--a sort of water roller coaster. We were lucky enough to be in the front seat and after the first large drop, she commented that she wanted to throw up! I convinced her that all was good and we then hit the realllly large drop....which she loved! As you would expect, as soon as we finished, she said she wanted to go again!!

After this we all grabbed a much needed seat, ate a small lunch, and kept walking. We went on a few small attractions/rides in the late afternoon which all culminated in a trip to Space Mountain! For all of you that have been to Disney, you will certainly remember that Space Mountain is the most "intense" of the rides. Mary Shannon, Isabella and I were fortunate enough to have our own car and we all conquered Space Mountain together!

After Space Mountain, we all headed over to Epcot because...well.....they serve alcohol! We had a very nice dinner in "Mexico" in Epcot and Mary Shannon, Sophia, Isabella and I stayed late to get some great autographs...including Mickey AND Minnie Mouse (pictures attached).

Tomorrow we are heading to MGM Studios and dinner in downtown Disney.

I have to tell you all how sincerely lucky and grateful that I am to be in the company of all of these incredible women. I truly would not change it for the world!
