A Tower of Terror, A Rainstorm, and A Boat Ride...

Well today started off interesting....other than the fact that Sophia woke ALL of us up around 9:00 because she was hungry, we would have probably slept in until after 10:00!! I think our 15 hour day yesterday really took its toll and we could not help but to sleep in this morning. After a brief "breakfast" of mini muffinis in the room, we finally made it to the shuttle buses around 10-ish and over to Disney-MGM Studios around 11. We immediately got tickets for the Tower of Terror--basically a 10-story free fall elevator ride. It was truly one of the most entertaining rides I have ever experienced and Mary Shannon, Isabella and I conquered this ride with ease! We then headed over to a High School Musical 2 attraction when I realized that I had left the battery to our digital camera in the room. I immediately left the park to retrieve the battery while the girls wandered around and met several characters. We then had a fantastic lunch at Mama Melrose's where Sophia had the chance to call Gi-Gi and T-daddy (pics attached)!

As we left lunch, the skies began to pour and we hunkered down at MGM until there was a small break in the rain. We headed back to the hotel to dry off and change in to some dry clothes for our evening adventures.

We are fortunate that our hotel has a boat directly to downtown Disney where we headed this evening. We just made our dinner reservations at the House of Blues where we had a great meal and a ton of fun. Downtown Disney is so entertaining and we got some great pictures to prove it!!

Our plans tomorrow are to head over to the Rainforest Cafe for a nice breakfast and then over to Animal Kingdom. Mickey's not-so-scary halloween begins at 7 over at the Magic Kingdom and we are all still getting our costumes together--any suggestions???
