I thought I'd have a lot more time to write my little blog, but that hasn't happened! It would be easy if I had a little laptop that I could write is as I go along, especially while travelling in buses or waiting in airports. So pretty much all I've done is put up a few photos with captions.
We're about to head off to more remote areas of Bali tomorrow. It rained heavily last night and then all morning, so our walk around the village was postponed until this afternoon. Hence, I have time to sit in an internet cafe!I've made 7 dives so far. Bali has great scuba diving, and my favourite dive was a deep wall dive to 103 feet in Tulamben in NE Bali. The visibility was fantastic and I felt like I was in an aqaurium! There were so many colourful fish surrounding me, it was fantastic! Swimming through great big schools of fish is surreal.
There were many healthy coral too, of all different colours. My favourite was a big fan-like coral in a bright pink-orange colour. I wish I could have taken photos.
Time goes by so quickly under water. I wish I could have stayed down longer. We have another opportunity to dive in a few days when we reach Bali Barat National Park in NW Bali, and all 6 people in my group plan to dive. We're all looking forward to it!

It gives me the shivers to think you're down 103 feet. I'm glad you're having a great time.
Our neighbour got back at the end of February from spending some time in Kuala Lumpur. He said it had grown so much since he was there 14 years ago.
Today is my 79th birthday--I sure don't feel that old!
Cheers
