I submitted a video to Hersheypark earlier in the year, and then auditioned for them when I was on the New York Satellite trip through UC Irvine's drama department.
I was soo excited to spend my summer in a completely new atmosphere, surrounded by young, passionate performers, just like myself!
It turned out to be very memorable and special summer.
While performing in "Gonna Shake It Up," (a 1950's-1970's mini musical where I played "the cheerleader"
a talent scout representing Norwegian Cruise Lines came to watch all of the theme parked shows, and then hold a fun, private audition for anyone to attend!
I got a call about three weeks later, and my friend Matt, who was also in my Hersheypark show, got offered the same ship!
The itinerary includes:
Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, South America and Antarctica!!!
Taking a risk to move across the country was definitely worth it!
