They are:
"Hit Me With a Hot Note" - Pop music from the 1940's-1990's
"Standing Room Only" - Musical Theatre from book musicals to contemporary (like Wicked and Hairspray!)
"At the Hop" - 1950's/60's music (many songs repeat from my show this summer!)
"Music Around the World" - British, Irish, American music...an interesting mix of songs...can't wait to see the costumes!
We have some 5 minute "openers" and another "welcome aboard" type song, which I will learn more about later!
Matty and I are the only new performers to the company. Everyone one else is either returning to this ship, doing their fourth or fifth contract, and they have all worked together in some combination. Norwegian uses the same shows on every ship, so they are all familiar with the dances and material. We will have no problem keeping up, but they are a little bit ahead of the game!
Tomorrow we start learning the shows, so I am excited to get moving!
