I now know all the music and cheorography to the 2 opening numbers!
Here is what I have learned about cruise ship shows:
The dancers kick butt. They are AMAZING. They are exhausted by the end of each number.
The singers either stand in the back, and sometimes move to the front, but we hardly do anything but walk around really quickly to get out of the dancer's way! Can you believe that? I almost feel bad that the dancers are sweating, laying the ground, drinking water when we finish a routine...and I'm just standing there, ready to do it 20 more times!
Our next show to learn is Standing Room Only- a broadway review show, which should be so fun! Think of any musical you know and we probably sing it!
