Cape Cod

Cape Cod Road SignOn the way to Cape Cod. We discovered that we don't need a plan. Only a destination. So we drove. And Drove and drove. Until we got there.

It's funny how things just work out when you really don't have plans. You don't have to worry about being late, where you're going or even what you're going to do.  Stop ahead, not here

So we drove and drove until we got to where the road ended. We disembarked and started out on foot.  Jumping For Joy.We just knew that we wanted to walk and see things.  With names like Race Point and Herring Cove this was an adventure waiting to happen.

Along the way, there is always time for jokes and play.

It may look like we're breaking all the rules, but hey, if you're the only one around, you get to do as you please!

Going off the beaten path brought it's own great moments.  On top of the tunnel
Because we were not willing to just go and do what everyone else did, we found ourselves walking for what seemed like forever.  10km overall isn't that bad, but when you're as out of shape as I am, it's a full day's walk.

The highlight of this amazing hike was the beach.  Forget the amazing fun we already had, the beach made it all worthwhile.  We ran around like hyperactive children on pop rocks and fun dip.  This is what walking 6km will get you

Listen, fun is what you make of it.  We ran around and made it work.  Nothing was open.  It was cold, we were hungry and tired.  But you can't really adventurise any other way!Wish you were here
