Your one stop shop!

So in three days time I will be Peru-bound! I found this website through the other girl who will be there at the same time. She's from Minnesota and we will be working on the same project, which thankfully is the one I wanted most....working in a hospital outside of Lima!!! So I will be building a resume and hopefully fully enjoying my summer vacation. We work on our project from 8 am to 1 pm monday through friday and the rest of the day and the weekends are ours to do as we please. I will be living in a homestay with a family that consists of a mother, father, two daughters, an aunt, two nephews, and a grandma. Amazingly in all that I will have my own room (or so I'm told, we'll see how that really works out ). They live in a two story house in a nice part of town, so let's hope for a good experience. Beyond that I have no details. I'm really excited to find out everything there is to know, but I'm also nervous because I like to plan things and to be able to prepare myself for what to expect from situations.
Well at 3:10 am (our time) this Thursday I will be landing in the Jorge Chavez International Airport and beginning a month in Peru. Where I'm staying they have internet and a computer in their home, so I will try and update this site as often as possible. I don't know yet how much time I'll have to use the computer so I figured I'd keep all my updates in one place. So hopefully you will read to see how and what I'm doing and maybe keep me updated with your lives too
