I love that I´ve never taken a taxi or much public transportation before in my life, and all of a sudden I´ve been in one like, 4-5 times since we´ve been here. Yeah...
This weekend was pretty much amazing. Our group of 12, 14 from North Carolina, 3 German guys and a Swiss couple went out to a ranch in the mountains. It was absolutely GORGEOUS there. Saturday I walked around to take pictures and then played cards basically all night. Sunday we walked to this place in the mountains to have lunch, and then I got to ride a horse back.
Now we´re back in the city. We don´t have class this week until 1:45, so it´s nice being able to go out with people and not having to worry about waking up really early. But on the downside we´re in class until like, 6:30. Oh well.
I know I said this before, but I seriously do love the cheapness of stuff here. Friday night I bought a purse - leather, but fake I think - for 32 pesos, which is less than 10 US dollars.
I think that´s about all I have for updates right now. I have classes all week, next weekend we´re doing more horseback riding, and then a few more days before we head off to Buenos Aires.
PS - we´re halfway through the month to my Birthday. =P
