Last few days in London

June 1, 2009 - London, United Kingdom

After Julie left, Tina and I went to the Hardrock Cafe and drank and ate a lot. The Hardrock Cafe in London is the first Hardrock Cafe! It was delicious.

On Friday, Tina and I went to the London Dungeon and Madame Tussauds. The London Dungeon was really fun. We would go from room to room and the first room was a mirror maze with no end. They left us in there going in circles untill a creepy person opened a secret door to continue through the dungeon. Different rooms had a torture room, court room, plague room, sweeny todd, jack the ripper and a boat ride. It was kind of educational and fun at the same time. It wasn't too scary but one part this person popped out and Tina and I crapped our pants haha. We grabbed lunch and went to Parliment Square for a bit and then road the bus to Madame Tussauds. I have never been to a wax muesum and always have wanted to go. It was crazy seeing wax figures of famous people. Obama was very popular. I got my picture with a bunch of them and the Queen! It was rockin. There was a floor with a haunted house. When Tina and I got to the room where you wait in line to get into the acutal haunted house, there was a guy sitting on a railing just staring, we couldnt tell if he was wax or not until we walked by and saw his back move from breathing. He was dead still for a few minutes and I kept looking from 15 feet away until he turned and looked at Tina. He made a face and tina made one back. One Tina did that, he got off the railing and I was freaked out. Tina and I ran through the ropes to get into the Haunted House. This guy was so scary, he had two different eyes and finally caught up in the line to Tina and I and got close and scary. He ended up talking with a deep, creepy voice telling us his name is lemon. The Haunted house was intense and people jumped out of everywhere. I thought it was awesome. After the haunted house there was a ride similar to Epcot where you jump in a seat and it drives you around to see something. We saw wax figurines showing the history of London. I thought it was awesome.

I packed most of my stuff up and then went out to dinner with a few friends in my program. Most of us had fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding.

The next morning was the flight home. I had mix feelings about leaving because I wanted to go home but I alway wanted to stay. The flight was all right, def better than the flight there. I requested a seat with leg room and we were in the frount row with an area to stand. It was great. When I landed, we had to go through customs and then baggage. With Tina's luck, one of her bags was put on a different flight, but it was delivered the next morning. Mom, Dad, Katie, Tina, and Mike were there to get me. It felt good to be home.
