Hello Everyone!
We are posting from beautiful Tuscany! No pictures as yet but we will put them all up soon. As you can see we have posted our Rome pictures, we have had a fantastic couple of days staying in the heart of the city! We struck gold with a little apartment not too far from the train station, which was lucky really as Leanne was not too well on the flight... in fact she was sick and Sam had to carry her rucksack from the Airport! Anyway after a couple of hours kip we were off to explore this ancient city. We walked round the Colosseum and the Forum and got lost in some side streets before heading back. We were so tired from the day we were in bed by 8pm (GMT +1).
We visited the Vatican Museum and saw the Sistine Chapel which is very small, not like Westminster Abbey! We were disappointed about the lack of Renaissance T&A (tits and arse) in the place and thought the Tate and the Louvre had finer pieces. Afterwards, we went to the Colusseum and had a guided tour by a mad Italian! In fact this is a misleading statement; all Italians are bonkers! Their parking is a atrocious and all their cars have dents in! Nevertheless, we had an excellent time, Rome is a wonderful place!
We are now looking forward to a couple of relaxing days in Tuscany, we will keep you posted!
