Ciao, Hola, Hello!
We have had a hectic few days! We´ll begin at the start & finish at the end.... Last time we blogged we had just arrived in Tuscany and were taking in the breathtaking views and local food and wine! We visited Florence, which is a beautiful but VERY busy city. We were going to see Michaelango´s David but the queue was very looooooooong so we went too see the copy in the nearby piazza. We ambled around for a few hours walking up and down the river which was very picturesque...Also took a peek in some of the Italian designer & jewellery shop windows, looking at stuff which we couldn´t afford (let alone wear to a degree that would suit us travel-beaten types...
Next day, we said goodbye to our new found friends at the hostel and moved (backpacks n all) to Pisa...where we heard the architecture was abit on the slanty side. Eventually we found this infamous piazza and proceeded to take some shots before heading back to our gear & train to our ferry in Genoa. To cut a long story short; got lost, got stressed, missed our train so had to paid for a fast connection to the ferry. We managed to catch it with half hour to spare...can´t remember much more because we just collasped in a heap... The ferry crossing was quite pleasant considering we had only pullman seats (poor-man seats). Our fellow passengers we friendly and quiet which made the crossing relaxing.
Now we´re in Spain...Tarragona to be precise, after a days travelling through Barcelona after the ferry. Sam has started to brush up on his Spanish after thinking he´d never get a chance to use it. We´re both feeling alot lighter after a weeks worth of travelling and endless walking, so alot of tapas and wine will hopefully sort that out lol. Tarragona is a lovely place, quintessentailly Spanish. We spent the evening soaking in the atmosphere in the main town square and satisfying ourselves with delicious local grub!
And that friends is where we arrive at... today we have been exploring the city. We have been to the Roman Amphitheatre and the Cathedral. We are now are heading to the beach to bask in the glorious sunshine!
Adios!
PS we will get some pictures up as soon as, but we are experiencing technically difficulties at the mo.

Love
