It has been too long since we last blogged... we've been having difficulties with getting the pictures on the web, damn that dial-up connection! Today we're in beautiful Geneve after travelling through Spain visiting Leanne's grandparents. We have had a great time travelling as far south as Alicante and staying in Bentichell which is just below Valencia. After getting treated and well fed we said adios to Charlie & Joy and headed back north to stay in Figueres, home of Dali... After waiting in an unexpected queue, we finally got into the Madman's Museum. It's wacky layout certainly mirrored his personality and had plenty of stuff the Tate didn't fork out for. Other than that, Figueres wasn't that exciting and happy to move on to fresh pastures...
We made our way through France, stopping in Lyon for one night after trekking through the city with our backpacks (which seemed like a lifetime). We have taken the train to Switzerland, stopping for a few hours in Geneve before heading on to our bed for the night in Bern. We haven't made any plans past tomorrow but we will be heading to Germany next and then beyond!
