The next morning we went on a tour to the Taman Negara national park it was for 3 days and 2 nights but most of the first day was traveling there it wasn't a bad thing as it was a nice drivr then we got an old long boat that sat very low in the water for 2.5 hours so that was good fun. We got there then went to the hostel, we had gone for air con as it was so hot and humid in the rain forest. We met other ppeople whao hadn't got air con and we made the right choice spending a little more! We went for a short walk then had food at a floting cafe.
In the moringing we did a canopy walk one of the longest in the world at 500m long. Was really good fun and had great views, its construction seemed dodgy but added to the fun. After this we did a few hours of jungle treking which was cool, well extreamly hot. In the afternoon we went in a boat to find some rapids, it was so much fun and got very wet which cooled everyone down. On the way back we went to see a tribe that lived in the rain forest it was very interesting as they showed us how to shoot darts they used for hunting and how they mad fire within abot 10 seconds!
The next day it was time to leave and head north to some islands (Perhentian) there are 2 close together we stayed on one called Kechil island it was beautiful, our hostel was basic with only a fan so got very hot in there! The weather was amazing for the 3 days we were there may be even too hot!
The first day we chilled on the beach played a few games, swam and relaxed. In the evening we went to a few beach bars and had a good time. In the morning we went to see about doing a snorkelling trip we found one and got the price down it was from 10.30 till 5 so pretty much all day it cost about 6quid. The guy who took us promised we would see reef sharks and turtels true to his word we did. The water is so so warm bu most of us wore t-shirts to avoid sun burn, it was mega hot again. We went to 4 different places, stoped for lunch and went to an amazing little beach its was an amazing day. Everyone was pretty shattered after this but managed to make it to the beach bars again!
Next day we were leaving at mid-day, getting the speedy boat back to the main land then heading north to Kota Bharu a plce that is ment to be rich in Malay culture. We arived about 4pm in time to find a place to stay and catch a culture show, we saw some art, games and music which was really interesting. We then went for food at a vegi resturant that mostly sold meat dishes very interesting! Then to a night market that sold most things but the food was the most interesting!
Today we are going to see the sights that are a bus ride out of the city!
