So the last stop in Malaysia was the island of Penang, we stayed in GeorgeTown the biggest city there. GeorgeTown is a really great place with lots to see and do. It has lots see and do not just in GeorgeTown but on the rest of the island.
First day we explored the city and came across some very random stuff, we went into atemple to look around and got invited to look in the back, there were lots of older people there playing random games for money one of the guys on a table gave us a seat and tried to tell us how to play but it was not straight forward by any means but looked interesting! That night we went to a cool food market not far from the hostel.
In the morning we went out of the city to see some temples and penang hill this took over half the day but was really cool, we got caught in a hugh rain sower but managed to find cover quickly!
We headed back to the city and looked round chinatown and little inda they were busy and full of atmosphere, good fun.
Our last day we explored the island further a small town in the middle where we had an interesting lunch with locals and a small fishing village with a temple on the beach. At the village there were floting house that didn't look too safe. We had a nice meal at a stall on the road side, all top notch cooking!!
It was ment to be an early night as we had to get a bus at 5am in the morning over the boarder to thailand but didnt work out like that so i was asleep on the bus trip to Krabi!
