So we went to the Colca Canyon early 8am bus, it was a 4hrs but the drive was amazing so much to look at! We stopped a few times to take in the views, at one stop point we were at 4910m there was snow it was freezing!! We arrived in Chivay the capital of the Colca canyon and where we would stay the night! Taht afternoon we went to some hot springs, this was natrual hot water from the volcanos 38C! Very nice! They were outside and it started to rain so was quite weird! That night we went to eat and there was a local band playing which was entertaining! The next day we were up at 5am as the bus left at 6 to travel down the canyon finally getting to the deepest point called condor point! It was 3400m deep at one place which makes it the deepest in the world! As the name says there are Condors there, we were lucky enough to see 5!!
These birds are huge with a wing span of 3m! That afternoon we traveled back to Arequipa, spent the night then got a bus to Puno in the morning! We were hoping to get the bus over the boarder to Bolivia but the were too late so we are spending a night in Puno, then getting the bus at 7.30am over the boarder! bye bye Peru!!
