A Shakespearean Day

March 26, 2008 - London, United Kingdom

Yesterday morning I had breakfast with Mom and Grandmother again, and then I had to go to class. While I was in class, they did some major sightseeing: The Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, and the river cruise of the Thames. I called them when I got out of class and met them at Westminster Pier and we all went to the Globe Theatre. We went through the exhibition before having a guided tour of the actual theatre. It was neat. I think I am going back in April to see King Lear.

We went from the Globe to ASK for dinner. (The name of the restaurant is ASK-- we weren't begging for food!) It was good. It's an Italian place near the house. After dinner, we got ready and went to the theatre! We saw Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. It was funny, but I was so tired I found myself struggling to stay awake. I think this three weeks of being a tourist thing is really catching up with me! It was a late night, so we just came back and went to bed.

I am about to go meet them for breakfast again. Today we are planning to go to Wimbledon and tonight we are cooking dinner for the house!
