I stayed up late last night finishing a Nicholas Sparks book, so I slept in the morning. Actually, I would have probably slept in whether or not I finished my book, but that's irrelevant. I got up at ten and Carolyn and I left around eleven and walked to the Post Office. Today was a GORGEOUS day-- maybe the most gorgeous one we have had yet. I went out in shortsleeves and didn't have to wear my coat! That's my kind of weather. I picked up some stuff at the post office and then we walked to the Victoria and Albert museum. We decided it was time for lunch, so we went to the Brompton Quarter Cafe before actually entering the museum. I had hummus and pita bread and it was goooood. We did a little reading at the cafe and then went to the museum. Roger had told me that there was a possibility we could get into the library to study, so we figured we'd give it a shot. We asked at the desk if it would be possible for us to work in the library and they said we could, but they made us empty our bags into clear, plastic ones, and register upstairs to get in the library. It was a beautiful library (I snuck some pictures), and I actually got some work done. I finished my theatre paper (sigh of relief) and did some reading as well. Sometimes I just have to get out of the house to get stuff done. We stayed there until around 4, and then we walked back to the house. It was a great day. Since I have gotten back, I have done more reading and worked on my class schedule. We will be registering for classes soon. I have just added a second major, so I am having to work hard to squeeze my classes in. This semester has been great, but I'm only taking 14 hours, so I'm going to have to pick those extra hours up somewhere. Hopefully everything will work out. I think this double major thing will be nice.
Now, we are about to go out to eat. Although I have absolutely scavenged the coffee shops and cafes, I really haven't gone out for dinner a lot here in London, so I'm excited.
