September 23, 2007 - Ulricehamn, Sweden

For the past week I have been limping around with a really painful toe injury. Last monday I was playing indoor soccer, stopped really fast to change direction and slammed my foot into the end of my shoe. Immediately it turned all sorts of bruising colors under and around my nail. My toe began to swell and I have been slightly crippled since then. I have been icing it and soaking it witht he hope that it will relieve some pressure. I also can only wear flip flops and thats not a very smart idea considering its about 60 degrees every day. Besides that slight setback, my week has gone very well.

Pretty much all of the Collegeline group went somewhere this weekend. A few of the North Park Frisbee players joined up with a Swedish team and played in the national tournament this weekend in Stockholm. I was going to go to that but knew I should rest my feet. Others went to Gothenberg and home. I went to Sara's home with Vicky. I love being in Swedish homes- there is something so different about them but wonderful different. She lives in Grönahög which is about 50 minutes south of Jönköping. I met her parents and her sister Eva Karin. Her dad actually works at SVF so I have seen him before. He's a teacher for the Musicline. We ate tacos and they tasted extremely good. We watched Walk the Line which is a fantastic movie. If you haven't seen it, you should.

Saturday morning, we went to a town near by called Ulricehamn. The town was celebrating its 700 year Anniversary. They had a ceremony in the town square and Crown Princess Victoria was there!! It was really cool to see the princess!

Check out my pictures! I uploaded a lot!
I don't know what else to write! cya :)
