Greece

Hey everyone...

It's been a while, we have had lots of long long days on the bus, and havent been able to acess the net as regularly. After Italy we headed to Greece, mainly to relax. We caught a ferry from Itlay and spend one night in Athens. While in Athens we had a bus tour of the city and visited the acropolis, where we bumped into Eddie Murphy.  Our tour was heading down the mountain and Eddie and his family (and about 20 body gaurds) were heading up. A few people on the tour got some photos but the body guards didn't like it.

After seeing the city sights we heading out for a traditional greek meal, which included dancing. It was one of the best meals we have had all tour. That night was a early one as we had to be up at 5am to catch another ferry to Mykonos the next morning.

The ferry from Athens to Mykonos took 6 hours, and we decided to quicken the trip with a few drinks, which we all regretted later when the sea become quite rough. The hotel in Mykonos was beautiful, had a great bar/pool/club, the rooms were nicley sized and air conditioned aswell. We didnt have a lot planned while on the island, just relax.

The first night we headed out for dinner with the group and went to a few nightclubs, at the last night club when everyone was getting a bit fuzzy one of the girls on tour from canada decided to show us her dance moves on the bar, where she sliped and broke her arm. The poor girl had to leave the tour the next day as she needed surgery and wasnt too keen on getting it in Mykonos.

The next night we had a toga party at the hotel which started nice and early with everyone on the tour being chucked into the pool fully dressed. It was a good and long night, which was fine because the next day we had nothing planned again and could sleep in.

No one wanted to leave Mykonos, and it is definatley one of our favourite places, But the tour had to go on.
