Early in the morning I walked to the top of the range that borders the gorge for a view over the surroundings. Nice walk, no good view on the gorge itself, but an excellent view on the flat landscape behind the range.
Then I departed for Kingfisher Camp, a camp site operated by a station on the bank of the Nicholson River. It is a good and quiet camp site, shade from the gum trees and grass on the ground since there is plenty water at hand.
