To visit Western Lost City, another area with sandstone pillars, I had to collect the key of the gate at the ranger’s station. Althpugh a day use area I got permission to stay overnight so that I could make late evening and early morning photo’s. The drive to and from Western Lost City is an hour and a half feom the gate over a 4WD track.
It is again a photographers paradise, see the pictures. And a stricktly solitary bush camp.
