We are in quito!

November 15, 2006 - Quito, Ecuador

We have officially arrived in Quito! We cant find a place to buy a phone card, so here we are updating our blog at papayanet, in a very happening part of quito. Our flights both went really well, and our hostel looks great. Well be sure to take pictures. Thats all for now, more soon (in case you cant tell, we cant find the apostrophe key on these keyboards :-)

So exciting!!!! Thanks for making the effort to contact us--we'll sleep a WHOLE lot better for knowing you are safe & sound! In fact, you'll be happy to know, I toasted your safe jurney with the last of the Moscat. How amazing that you made it to your hostel and found an internet cafe so soon after arriving! Stay happy and safe.
Lots of love, Mom/Debra

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound. What makes that part of Quito "happening"? Have you found fun stuff yet? Danny said he wanted to talk to you on the phone, so it'd be great if you'd give him a call as soon as you get a phone card.

Ahhhhh! I miss you! How was the Magic Bean?! Did you have great food there? I am going to write my host family this weekend and let them know there's a chance you would stop by. I'm sure you don't know when you'll be in Cuenca, but I'm excited to hear your updates!!!
P.S. If you call home from an internet cafe, it's probably cheaper than buying a phone card!
