Well, the results are in... I am officially leaving January 23rd for the mountains, villages and beaches of Central and South America for 4 months. Starting in El Salvador and backpacking down the western coast of Central/South America and rounding it all up in Rio De Janeiro with one big party. I'll have internet access through out the trip and will be updating everyone on where I'm at and what's going on, sort of like "Where's Waldo" but not. When I do get back from this adventure I am starting my Masters program in Denver so....I'm not coming back to Chicago. The windy city has been good, but time to move on. Further info to come on the leaving Chicago forever party...

Ahhh going to miss our smokes on the front porch!! I forgot to ask if you are traveling alone?? Well have an awesome time Mike!!! You will be greetly missed!! I subscribed to this so I can see where you are!
Despite the fact that Chicago will be better off without you. I'll still miss ya. Good luck on your trip! I'll meet you at the top of Macchu Picchu. I'll start saving my pennies so when the kidnappers come calling for your ransom we'll be able to act calm and collected. Maybe even get them to pay us.
Haha...seriously though. Have a great time and good luck on your journey. Remember that when a toilet flushes south of the equator...the water swirls in the opposite direction. This info could save your life. Best of luck in Colorado as well. Say hi to Cartman for me.
