About me

Well, I'm 28, quit my job in Chicago and decided to go backpack Central and South America with a couple of friends for 4 months until I start my Masters program in Denver. Going with two friends, Andres and Vanessa, and I’m sure we'll meet some new ones along the way.
I'll try to update everyone on what's going on and how lost we get as much as possible, but no promises...

About my trip

This started as a 2 week trip down to El Salvador to visit Andres and turned into a 4 month trek of most of Central and South America. 12 countries in 4 months, roughly 8,389 miles, don't really know if it can be done...we'll see. Plane to come back to the states leaves out of Rio on May 23rd, so I guess I should probably be there...
