Hello everyone!!!
Sorry we haven't written anything up until now.
Thanks a lot to everyone who left a wee comment...much appreciated.
Everything is going great, had a quality time in Bangkok, it's pretty mental.
Glad to be out and by the beach though.
We are on an island called Koh Chang, which is a bit less touristy than the more popular islands but it's developing real fast. The accommodation that Fi found here is totally amazing, 'Thale Bungalows'.
It's just what we wanted, right by the sea, really really chilled out.
It's run by a few seriously mellow Thai dudes (we'll get pictures next time), who are really sound. They sit about listening to amazing tunes all day, mainly blues, but they played the entire Beatles back catolouge pretty much the first night we arrived. The people in Thailand are so so nice, very smiley.
They are treating us very well.

great to receive some news & pics .....looks a cool place to just chill and enjoy a change of culture! Brenda, Ryan, Katie & I had a fab time in Granada ....checking out places to visit there was fun!! Things are hectic for your mum & Iain ..they move to the flat tomorrow, but they will soooo enjoy Spain! Love to you both,

So ! your fotos are realy beatiful and it seems to be the paradize island here ! But, the sky is too much grey, it don't look like the postcards !!! what's wrong ??? Sir the pics speak volumes in more ways than one, as I said before you two are soooo lucky - big well done for f*kin off for a year together, haha!

New jobs sublime although Ive to refrain from helping Clients too much with poses me a bit of a moral dilemma but Im chasing my Personal Trainer course as we speak...so shouldnt be long till Im free to do what I want.

Hey Jay and Fi! Looking good! I'm still enjoying staying at Fi's old flat but I'm pure jealous of your new gaff! Have you got room for a wee one? Do you get the Scotland games?
It was the "Old Newbies" 1 Year Anniversary at El Stando so we went out for a Mongolian Feast to celebrate! It was brilliant! I ate a shark, zebra, ostrich, kangeroo and crocodile. Oh, and the Chef gave us a shot of his swords!

Hi from Scotland.
Hope you are both well?
