About me

All about me! I am a lovely woman who plays the trombone. I have one daughter and we live in Orange County, California where I teach instrumental music. Work and child keep me pretty busy, but I do get to play my trombone regularly which is great. I play in three groups and I like to swim and hike when I can. Currently, I'm on summer vacation and am enjoying the time off.

About my trip

Woo-hoo! My trip begins in Scotland where I will stay and meet my family. My grandmother was born in Cambuslang, just outside of Glasgow. So I get to meet the Campbell Clan which is the highlight of Scotland!
Next stop, Wales. A day in Cardiff then onto Swansea for the International Brass Band Summer School for a week. Trombone band camp - I'll save my comments for later.

Lastly, I will be visiting with friends met last November when the BA Brass Band came over. I'll be staying in Bucks. and London.
I will be playing my trombone in all three countries and looking forward to meeting many people with my same interests.
