About me
There isn't too much to tell I suppose. I've never left Australia, so you can imagine how excited I am about my first overseas trip. The furthest I've travelled from the Austalian mainland is to Christmas Island. My 27 years have been pretty spread out across the country. I was born in Melbourne in '80, moved to Perth in '87, back to Melbourne in '93, Perth again in '94, Melbourne yet again in 2001, Brisbane from 2002-2004 (where I met my wife Melanie), Weipa in '05/'06 and back to Perth again at the end of '06.
During that time I've seen a fair bit of Australia so it's time to check out some new stuff.
About my trip
I head to Melbourne at the start of October to visit family for a couple of weeks, then it's onto Las Vegas for my sisters wedding. There is going to be a group of at least 6, possibly 8 of us heading to "Sin City" so the partying should be hard (as you would expect). After a week myself and Melanie (maybe one or two mates too) will be off to Canada for a working holiday. I have no idea what job I will end up with, but I don't really care as long as it pays food and board.
My favourite things about Canada so far? David Cronenberg and Canadian Club Whisky.....so you can see that I have alot to learn about the place!
I'm now in the UK hoping to make as many trips throughout Europe as possible.
Visited countries
Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States. (4 countries, 2%)
